African American Moms Go Back To School

Eligible students can receive a Federal Pell grant of up to $5,000 and another additional $10,000 scholarship.

Nobody values college education as much as President Obama, which is why he is supporting American citizens, including African American moms and minimum wage employees, to gain a degree at college. Many of us don’t think that we will be able to raise the funds needed to study, which is why Obama has bought out a legislation to give grants to moms and low wage employees to go back to college.

Government grants are to be given to African American moms and other students who are earning a certain wage in order to give them the chance to get a college degree. This grant doesn’t have to be paid back! A lot of moms want to go back to studying but feel that they can’t because of their jobs or family commitments, but with a scholarship and government grant, you can apply to study online as well. This will give African American moms the chance to get their degree without leaving home.
